Show Your Friends How Much you care

Posted by Kelly Flack on Friday, December 9, 2011, In : Children

I hold my daughter gently as the tears fall from her eyes,
She now knows of friends so precious, and this is why she cries.

It was break up day at school, and many kids will move along,
In to high schools all around the town. Her mind is sad but strong.

Good friends will hold you, and they'll kiss you and you'll laugh at times you've shared
And in return you'll hug and kiss them back, to show how much you care.

My dear Shayla, you'll make new friends as you go along each day.
And keep your old frien...

Happy 9th Birthday Cori Jordyn

Posted by Kelly Flack on Monday, April 4, 2011, In : Children

To my little daughter Cori
You're just so very sweet
On the day that you were born
You made my life complete

You are my angel sent from heaven
You say "I love you" every day
You share some truly awesome stories
And always have so much to say

I love the mornings when I wake you
Your little arms reach for a hug
Your gentle hands around my neck
With tiny kisses full of love

I'm just so glad we're all together
Shayla, Dad and me and you
So happy birthday little angel
May all your precious dreams come true

Be Nice To Mean People

Posted by Kelly Flack on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, In : Children

My 8 year old daughter, Cori,  came home from school today, a little upset because one of the boys was mean to her at school. They were standing in line to have school photos done and the boy turned to her and for no apparent reason he said "You're a freak"

Cori didn't know how to take this and didn't know why he would say such a thing. I asked her what her reply was. "Nothing" she said. I could see she was hurting a little and didn't quite understand how to feel that little bit better.

I said...

Sometimes We HAVE To Do Things That we Don't Want To Do.

Posted by Kelly Flack on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, In : Children

Sometimes we all have things that we don't really want to do but we HAVE to do. Things we HAVE to do, could be due to policies that have been put in place, contracts, government laws, traditions etc but today I want to write about school curriculums.

This morning, Shayla woke up "pretending" to be not feeling well. Her temperature was fine, her cheeks were rosy and I saw a smile hidden underneath her pretend frown. We sat, and I knew I would get to the bottom of this.

Everyday, I teach my child...

Society's Law's Say "You Have To Do It This Way....."

Posted by Kelly Flack on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, In : Children

I sit out the back with a coffe as I write this. It's 5pm and the sun is slowly on its way down in the sky. I watch my children as they play with their Bratz on the lawn - not a worry in the world to fill their minds. They are living in their moment.

I think back to this morning. Shayla didn't bound out of bed to ready herself for school like she usually does. She stayed snug under the covers for as long as she could. "Darling, you have to go to school. It's the law and besides, theres only ei...

How Do You Like Them Apples?

Posted by Kelly Flack on Thursday, November 12, 2009, In : Children

My 10 year old daughter Shayla, is going on her first school camp next week. A few weeks ago she was a little bit nervous about being away from home and not knowing what to expect. Shayla is the kind of person who wants to know exactly what will be happening, when it will happen and what to expect. She's always relied on information to be the source of 'what to expect'

"What if I dont get to be in a cabin with my mates Mum"? she asked me last week. I answered "and what if you do"?

We sat down ...

Our Family's Expansion

Posted by Kelly Flack on Saturday, November 7, 2009, In : Children
Thoroughly enjoying the journey of life. I find excitement in every day. Currently reading Abraham-Hicks Law of Attraction. Have listened to the audio many times but repitition presents new A-ha moments that I am implementing with an open heart and an open mind.

Our eldest daughter, Shayla, see's the benefits it is providing for Pete and I so she is slowly embracing the fact that each day is our own choice. Cori, our youngest, remains in touch with her non-physical self ever since birth.

You se...

My Kids and Their Law of Attraction Part 2

Posted by Kelly Flack on Monday, June 15, 2009, In : Children

We have come a long way and continue to learn and grow every day. I get to watch my children as their minds open up a little more with every waking (and sleeping) hour of the infinite possibilities that they have within thier reach.

As you may know from "My Kids and Their Law of Attraction" Part 1, making $100k per day and owning a Limo are 2 of Shaylas wishes (my 10 year old daughter) And in comparison to my wishes of $670 per day and a purple Toyota Tarago, Shayla definately knows how to thi...

Do You Make Time To Play?

Posted by Kelly Flack on Monday, May 11, 2009, In : Children

In these busy times, when parents and children have schedules packed to the max, family closeness can fall by the wayside. Most of us have to make an effort to guarantee that work, school, sports, and chores don’t swallow up the very relationships that make those things important.

When is the last time you played or goofed around with your child? Can you remember back that far? Many parents can’t. Life has made us so serious, so focused, that we’ve lost the joy of the simple things, and...
