Have an Attitude of Gratitude and Wondrous Things Will Happen

June 12, 2009
"God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today.  Have you used one to say "thank you?"  ~William A. Ward

Today we will excercise our brain to practice gratitude
No matter what you have, be thankful for it! This is a basic principle underlying the law of attraction. Even if all you have is the shirt on your back, be grateful for it. Your
gratefulness will allow the law of attraction to pave the way for getting even more of your needs and desires fulfilled.

Think of all the simple things we have to be thankful for, which we too often overlook: having plenty of clothing, having a roof over our heads, having enough food--the list goes on and on!

Let's have some fun with this

For example: If you have an inflatable swimming pool to keep you cool in the heat of Summer, be grateful for that. Don't think along the lines of, 'Oh I don't like this small pool, an inground lap pool would be better'
You must appreciate the small inflatable pool in order to get to the inground lap pool. If you send out negative thoughts towards your small inflatable pool, the LOA will see that you focus on small inflatable pools and there you have it. Be grateful for what you have and the LOA will return to you MORE bigger better versions of that thing to be grateful about.

But have you ever noticed that some people complain about every little thing that goes wrong? And have you noticed that such people always have little things going wrong? That's because their complaining is setting up the law of attraction to work against them.

If the fridge stops running and you're whopped with an unexpected $200 bill, don't chronically complain.
Complaining won't make it go away. Rather, use the law of attraction to focus on the positive: be grateful that you have $200 in your checking account to pay for the repair!

If you constantly focus on the negative instead of the positive--on what you don't have instead of what you do have--the law of attraction and the universe will conspire to adjust your attitude by taking away some of your basic needs. All of a sudden an unexpected $400 auto repair bill will be added to that fridge repair bill!

"If a fellow isn't thankful for what he's got, he isn't likely to be thankful for what he's going to get. " ~Frank A. Clark

Today my husband, Peter and I, sat down with our 2 daughters and started a journey with them through the words of Winsome Coutts - Visualizing and The Law of Attraction For Kids.

Cori is 7 years old so today we started with the younger kids book called "The Secret of Making Wishes Come True"

Do You Make Time To Play?

May 11, 2009

In these busy times, when parents and children have schedules packed to the max, family closeness can fall by the wayside. Most of us have to make an effort to guarantee that work, school, sports, and chores don’t swallow up the very relationships that make those things important.

When is the last time you played or goofed around with your child? Can you remember back that far? Many parents can’t. Life has made us so serious, so focused, that we’ve lost the joy of the simple things, and...

The Sound of Music in a Berlin Train Station

April 16, 2009

We all know that what we focus on, grows or expands. With a little help from the sound of music, the energy surges through this crowd of people as they wait for their trains and the toe tapping, laughter and good vibes become contagious.

I watched this with my children and we had a fantastic 'good feeling' moment. Extremely well done :)

Luxuries of Mother Nature

April 11, 2009

At the beginning of every year, I plan all of our big holidays, book them and wait for the time to come. Last year we spent alot of time in luxurious accomodations doing 'human' things. I decided that this year would be different. We would enjoy luxuries of Mother Nature more so than the man-made ones and at least this way, our little old dogs would be able to join in the fun of life.

My husband, Peter and two daughters, Shayla and Cori, along with our two pomeraniums, Sherb and Cashew,  camp...

Your Inner Being Understands the Law of Attraction. Are You Listening To Your Inner Being?

April 2, 2009

Can't see the video above? Click here

The direction of your thought is YOUR choice. If you have had an unfavourable life, you have probably been creating it by default.

Have you noticed that the one who speaks most of illness has it? The one who speaks most of prosperity has it. When you feel lonely you cannot attract companionship. If you're feeling fat, you cannot attract thin. If you're feeling poor, you cannot attract prosperity.

You must take your attention from 'what is' an...

The Easy Way to the LOA - Law of Attraction

April 2, 2009

The Law of Attraction is a universal law with a predictable outcome. What does this mean?

Well, let’s use the law of gravity as an example:

If you take a coin and throw it up in the air, what’s going to happen?

It’s going to come straight back down, right?

This is a predictable law as is the law of attraction.

However, the law of attraction is motivated by thoughts and the feelings attached to those thoughts. If you have read a lot about how the law of attraction works, you would have ...
